To further keep you in the peace of mind, we're introducing a new service policy that automatically extends your warranty by another 12-months in addition to the existing 13-months warranty for the TECNO CAMON 16 Premier. This implies that during the 25-month warranty, you don't have to worry about repair costs.
Who's eligible for this?
The new service policy is for the Kenyans who recently purchased the new CAMON 16 Premier (CE9). This extended warranty is effective from the date of sale to the product end-of-life.
TECNO CAMON Premier (CE9) warranty introduction
As you probably already know, the original warranty offered by TECNO serves as a protector for your device by providing free maintenance service in case your phone gets faulty (not artificially) during the warranty period. This extended warranty further extends the existing 13-months warranty by another 12-months for the TECNO CAMON 16 Premier; bringing the total warranty period to 25-months (760 days) from the date of the original retail purchased by the end-user. The customers can enjoy free maintenance if the phone fails to be damaged artificially.
The following situations are not included in the warranty.
- Damages caused by unauthorized modification: the warranty is voided if you try to disassemble the phone manually or manipulate the system (software).
- Damages caused by accident: the warranty doesn't cover accidental damages or human behavior such as broken screen, water intrusion, motherboard deformation, the input of improper voltage(charger), over-extrusion, etc.
- Damage caused by misuse or improper maintenance: assuming you carelessly sit on your phone or you left it with a child and it got spoiled, the warranty doesn't cover such situations.
- Altered or invalid certificate: the warranty doesn't exist if the certificate does not conform to the product type or has been altered.
- Compromised labels: The warranty becomes void when the battery bin stickers and anti-disassemble labels have been removed or defaced or indistinct and unrecognizable.
- Beyond the warranty period: getting this extended warranty takes your warranty period to 25-months. However, the warranty is expired as soon as the phone has lived for more than 25 months with you after the date of purchase. To keep the track of your warranty status.
About the TECNO CAMON 16 Premier (CE9)
The TECNO CAMON 16 Premier, launched in September 2020, is the latest addition to the camera-centric device series from TECNO. The phone comes with top-notch specs and most requested features from users.
Up from the MediaTek Helio P35 processor used on its forerunner - CAMON 15 Premier, the CAMON 16 Premier comes with the MediaTek Helio G90T, a gaming processor.
